I heard this song on an episode of the Simpsons (the one when Homer's mother, voiced by Glenn Close, comes back to Springfield) and absolutely loved it. I'd always randomly sing out "honeydew" and then the melody, thinking that it was honeydew that was being sung about. (Heck, it was an episode regarding the 60s...it could be possible.) But yeah, when I was 16 I ended up finding the song on Napster and have been a "Waterloo" listener/singer ever since.
