The story:

I was singing along to this song quite loudly when I was a kid and
when I got to the line "let's get it on" my mother turned horrified
and asked what I just said, she corrected me and told me it wasn't
appropriate to sing my version. She did have a good laugh about it
later though and told the story to my entire family.
