My feeling when discovering the mishearing was rather huge disappointment than embarrasment. In combination with the melody and Thom Yorks insisting vocals, I found "This is the only kind of love" was one of the most definite and powerful statements on emotional issues, regardless of the question whether it matched with the rest of the song lyrics or not.
