I love A-Ha a great deal and far more for their discography than
just their breakthrough hit of 'Take on Me'. Hearing this tune, I had
only realised that the subject was about heading TO work, when
before - despite hearing about doing the puzzle in the morning
paper from the first line - I thought it was about returning home
FROM work and I already knew in the second verse, that returning
home from work is the subject. 'Smallser cage' is more to do with
it being an inaudible dialect than it being a misheard word.
