I listened to this song on the school bus in 1979 because the driver was always playing it on his cassette deck. One day I asked him who sang the song about Montezuma, and of course he had no idea what I was talking about. So I said, "You know, you're always playing that song. It's about the Aztec chief who was killed by the Spanish? He was beaten by the Queen of Hearts every time?"
When he realized what I was talking about, the driver laughed so hard he almost wrecked the bus.
