The story:

Most of my friends don't listen to lyrics of songs, so when I ranted about this song-- first, that Akon thinks it's "respectful" to call a woman a "sexy b***h," and second, that he's apparently naked while all of this is taking place-- they generally believed me and expressed sympathetic outrage. But then finally in a club one day, one of my friends gave me a funny look and said, "I'm pretty sure 'put on clothes' is not what he actually said." At least I was saved complete embarrassment by uncovering the real lyric on the Internet later. But I still hear "put on clothes" when I listen to the song.
