First things first I'm a realist

The story:

This song came on the radio while I was driving with my mom
and siblings. Hearing the first lyric, I muted the song and
proceeded to launch into a long-winded criticism of how the
lyric has nothing to do with the rest of the song. Upon the
completion of my criticism, my mother informed me of the real
lyric. Needless to say, I was quite embarrased.
