When I was a young lad the Beatles ruled the airwaves in Britain, and this song was one of the scariest things I'd ever heard. Not only did Eleanor keep her face in a jar by the door, but she'd lost the eyes for it and only just found them by blindly groping about in the local churchyard. I was quite relieved when Father Mackenzie buried the old zombie. It was only when my Mum explained the face was a figurative one she used when she left the house I realised the eyes bit might be wrong as well......
