The story:

I first heard the song when I was in grade school so that's the perfect age to believe you heard one thing and be convinced you were correct. Nobody pointed out to me what the real lyrics were. As I grew older, I started listening closer because I started feeling that was strange to include a lyric like that. I looked elsewhere online for the lyrics and found the correct ones and it made more sense. However, I still laugh when it comes to that part of the song and think of those wrong lyrics.
