I have always liked this song and it wasn't until I downloaded it on itunes that I discovered the lines weren't as chaste as I thought. I still sing it to myself with the misunderstood lyrics. I never got found out publicly because I would never want to admit that I love this song in the first place.

I always thought he was telling her to go away (Please go away...) until just a few years ago when I was singing it in the car and my husband said what are you saying?? Well ya I had it wrong again just like Foreigner and Head games. I always thought they were saying Hat games in that song!
