I don't know what.. what to say, I'll say it anyway

The story:

Every time I heard this song, I always wondered what I would say to boxing promoter Don King, if her were sitting in a chair, awaiting conversation from me.. Maybe I would ask him why he cheated so many boxers out of their money.. Or maybe I'd ask him about Mike Tyson biting Evander Holyfield's ear off, like, "WTF was THAT all about?!?" Either way, it would be an awkward conversation, and I would feel nervous and apprehensive about asking him those things (notice the nervous stutter of the word "what" in my version), but then I would convince myself to just go ahead and "say it anyway," as the lyric suggests.. I always kinda felt it wouldn't make much SENSE for "A-Ha" to be singing about that, but never bothered to look up the REAL lyric, until just now. I always just enjoyed MY version.. I still do.
