It was my friend's boyfriend who misunderstood the lyrics. He was singing at the top of his lungs while the three of us were driving in the car one day 2 years ago. My friend and I looked at each other and busted out laughing. He couldn't understand why until we explained the real lyrics. His face was bright red after that.
