i was flipping the channels and it came on TV Land. For some inexplicable reason the real lyrics suddenly dawned on me. I was so excited I had to mention it to my girlfriend. "They're saying "down at our rendevous"! It never occured to me it would be a french word!" She just looked at me and said "DUH!"
