After Prince died, I was playing "Controversy" in the car when
my friend beside me exclaimed in horror, "OMG! Did he just
say, 'want your pu**y'?!! I knew he had some pretty nasty
lyrics, but I didn't know he was THAT dirty!" After laughing my
butt off, I asked her to take another listen and tell me what she
thought he was actually saying. She listened and said, "Oh! I
feel so stupid! He's saying, 'Count your blessings'!" Ugh (insert
sarcastic eye roll here).
