This my boyfriend's mistake. He had always sung it this way and he had this image in his head of a dog named Chili Dog (maybe a dachshund) and its owner was telling it to come. I don't know! It's insane but it made sense to him. We were watching I Love the 80s and someone commented on the actual lyrics and how they're kind of gross and my boyfriend was like "that's what he's singing???" When he told me what he thought the lyrics were I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe.
