I don't have a funny story. I looked up the lyrics one day
because I thought that was what I heard and I had analyzed it
and thought it made sense. She is American! She is the child
of infidelity and it informs her whole persona! I think her being
Clinton's and Monica's illegitimate daughter makes for much
better lyrics, personally.
