It wasn't embarrassing, just really puzzling. I must admit I misheard the entire song, but nothing as completely as this. It does make sense -- if I was dissecting a bug, I'd want to have gloves on too. I couldn't, however, figure out how mutilating an insect could make a night a peaceful or why you'd have to wear the right kinda shoes (Another mishearing). A look at the lyric sheet made me realize I probably should look into a hearing aid. Or interesting medication.
