I agree that "blowing the stars around" (what I heard also) is more romantic! I also thought he was singing, "I'm not talking about millenium," which seemed a more cerebral, -- if somewhat strange, -- way of saying he didn't want to push a long-term relationship.

Sorry, but it is "there's a warm wind blowing the stars around" Dan Seals sings it when he does a country-western version of it in his later years. Can't miss the pronunciation.
