It was 1971 and we listened to top 40 music at work. My boss (who was a woman) heard this song come on and commented how she thought it was such a cute little song. Normally, she disliked most rock songs. When she said she thought the song was called and about a "Black beetle emotion" we all cracked up for the rest of the day. She was about 35-40 years old at the time
