The story:

For years my sister and I had been huge Steve Miler Band fans, we both liked the same songs and sang the same lyrics. One day at a track meet that I was competing in, I brought my CD to get energized before my race. I was singing loudly and dancing around like I often do, not knowing that the words I was singing were completly off. A friend of mine who was also a big Steve Miller fan, unable to control her laughter, confronted me and told me the right lyrics. I denied the truth, and to this day still think about poor big ol' Jed, and hope hes doing ok now that hes been carried away from the line-up to his new home in prison.
