Atta boy, Bill!

The story:

I first heard “Kings of Metal” on the old Z-Rock
radio station back in 1988/89. As I was driving
my car (with kinda crappy radio speakers, to
boot), the shouted “correct” lyric registered in
my head as the misheard one I posted. This led to
my constant saying, “Who’s Bill?” every time I
heard the song's chorus. 10 (or so) years later,
I found out the right words after borrowing the
album from my brother. In 2001 (and/or 02), I met
guitarist Ross the Boss and told him about my
misheard lyric. I guess he got a kick out of it.
In the end…yes, I think I like my version better.
So Bill, whoever you are…ATTA BOY!!!
