    As a teenager in the 1970's I thought they were singing "Pol Pot" (preceding the genius of the Dead Kennedys)... probably because my parents made a big deal of John Lennon's communist sympathies.

    Around 15 or 16, a friend convinced me the chant

    Song: I Am The Walrus
    Real Lyric: According to Wikipedia, the chanting at the end is"oompah, oompah, stick it up your jumper!" sung simultaneously in the choir as "got one, got one, everybody's got one".

    The story:

    Just today, on hearing the song again, I decided to look up the lyrics. (Not very embarrassing.) Wanted to see what others heard, though.
