The story:

This song came out when I was a teenager. I guess I just always thought he was reminiscing about the days when he and his friends used to sit around drinking Coor's Lights. (And/or that maybe Coor's gave him some $ for putting that in the song!). I asked my husband in the car the other day whether or not that's what he says, and he said no (he used to sing the song a lot on karaoke and he couldn't remember what it really said, but he knew it wasn't that). He looked up the real lyrics online and told me. I like my version better!
