The story:

Hard to tell if it's a misheard or misremembered lyric, but I was
singing the chorus of Strawberry Fields Forever under my
breath while waiting for my prescription at the Costco
pharmacy (no, nothing psychedelic). My wife Kelly overheard
me, and I hesitated, maybe distracted by a 1 litre bottle of
vitamins. She filled in her own, less dated idiom, causing a few
eyebrows to go up.
