I'm an American. Somehow, I learned at a young age that "loo" means "toilet." A few years later, when I was about 10 or so, I decided the line after sounded like, "Time on my ass could be time spent with you." I thought it made sense: it was a song about a guy with constipation; he really wanted to be with his girlfriend, but instead, he was stuck on the toilet. Well, I'm 18 now, and I looked up the lyrics a few days ago because I was bored. I realized that not only was my version wrong, but it was a lot more entertaining than the real version!
