I'm not a native speaker of the English language.
I started learning English in school at the age of 10. I'm not sure when I heard the song "We are the champions" for the first time, but I remember that due to my limited school English (and perhaps also due to my fondness for food ;-) I initially misunderstood the above cited lyrics. I'm also not sure about the exact age when I finally found out what the lyrics really were. At that point, I think, I thought to myself: "yes, that makes somehow more sense..."
