The story:

I was at my girlfriends house for Sunday dinner with her whole family, we were sitting around in the lounge room, Van Morrison was playing in the background(not that loud). I grew up listening to Moondance and Astral Weeks so when i heard Moondance playing i thought I'd be the man and impress my "in-laws" by quietly singing along, just loud enough however that they could hear that i knew the words...The rest, as they say is history, i was immediately pulled up for my glaring mistake and subsequently mocked for the rest of the night. Needless to say I was sufficiently embarrassed at the time but to be honest, i still sing those incorrect lyrics to this day.
