The story:

I knew a little bit about MIA, so I thought "yama ney!" was some sort of gleeful phrase a Sri Lankan or Indian crook might yell while robbing a store. My co-worker set me straight when I played the song for her. She goes, "oh that's nice. Children singing about shooting you and taking your money." She got it on the first listen.
