Listening to the radio with my big sis in the car, we thought this was a new Billy Joel song. Here's this guy describing his complicated real life relationship problem in detail. And then the refrain: "All I really need to do is buy myself a brand-new muffler." Even thought he's obsessed with talking about his relationship problem, he knows can't solve it, so might as well take care of the little problem of that muffler on the car. Just go get yourself that brand-new muffler. That's all you really need. Forget the girl.
