I knew the correct lyrics but this version occured to me while watching Star Wars.
Alderaan is the name of Princess Leia's home planet. Darth Vader blows it up in an attempt to extract from Leia the location of the Rebel Base. Both Oberon and Alderaan (although Alderaan is fictional) are celestial bodies and Alderaan fits into the context of the song.
I have sung it this way ever since my epiphany.
