The story:

I was helping my dad move and had picked up a stack of records. We were talking about what 45's are. I told him how weird it was to me that he still owned records in this day and age. I said, "It reminds me of that Billy Joel song" and quoted what I thought were the lyrics to this song! He told me the real lyrics, but I insisted on looking it up online to be sure! It turns out he was right!
