I was signing along with it with my friend... she said she didn't think those were the lyrics... but she had no better solutions, so since they were a quasi-politico band, we decided I was right.... didn't find out until I heard a bit on the radio that it was a commonly misunderstood lyric. We both had a good laugh when I told her.
