I can't quite pinpoint the exact moment when I found out, but I think that deep down I always knew they couldn't possibly have been the right words anyway. It must have been by physically reading the title of the song in print in a book or on an album cover that made me finally realise what the correct lyrics were. But even to this day I still can't listen to that song without conjuring up a mental picture of a little bug-eyed green man with an enormous head driving around in a little convertible!
