I could never work out what the guy was saying but I was never bothered to find out, I mean the song's about being drunk in LA so the events described are going to be somewhat muddled, right? That was until I was browsing this site and the track happened to come up on random play on my MP3 player. I decided to find out what the real lyrics were. The only explanation for my misheard lyrics was that maybe I thought the singer was describing smoking tofu to get high - those craaaazzzzy Californians! And he took a big - ie, sumo sized - hit, which sent him to the moon...
