The story:

I listened to this a lot in high school - 14 years later I still listen
to this cd now and then, it was ahead of its time...

That said, I got a LOT of the lyrics wrong, who knows how
many times I sang the wrong lyrics around my friends. All this
time I imagined he was getting romantic with a girl and making
tea or a hot bath, and then at the end breaks into a letter to his
dad.
It's a song about alcoholism thru and thru, Rivers Cuomo has
explained that in his book (which I can't wait to read, but I hear
great things, such as this song interpretation)...



I felt like a fool - all this time I thought he was wrestling with
some chick named Judy and about to either make her some
tea or pour hot water into her bath. You gotta admit, the music
and him saying "oh yeah all right feels good inside," sound
romantic.
