The story:

I was singing along in the car to this tune, and my friend heard me say "boojee" and he said, "What's a boojee???" I said I don't know - never thought about it, really - then I said, maybe it's like "bougie", which is French for "candle"! Ah, see? We got it all figured out. But of course the next question would be why is Mick calling someone a candle? But seriously, he really does pronounce "beauty" as "boojee", hence my confusion for several decades.
