The story:

Basically, I am a huge Kelly Clarkson fan; so when her new
CD came out back in 2009 I (like any dedicated fan) got tickets
to her concert. I was determined to convince my friend to like
her music so she’d go with me to her concert. We were
hanging out at her apartment and I casually threw her CD in.
As I sang along to one of my favorite songs on the album, “I
Do Not Hook Up”, my friend’s boyfriend told me I was singing it
wrong. I rolled my eyes and proceeded to tell him how I was “a
big fan” and how I was “PRETTY POSITIVE I knew the actual
lyrics”. We googled it and I definitely ended up sticking my foot
in my mouth. Serves me right for being c**ky! ;)
